Founder &
Executive Therapy

It’s your ambition.
It’s your nervous system, too.

You can be good at what you do and still be struggling.

You might be building a company, leading a team, navigating a transition, or holding responsibility that rarely leaves your mind. People look to you for answers. There may be fewer places where you can say, “I don’t know,” “I’m exhausted,” or “This is affecting me more than I expected.”

Therapy offers space for those conversations, and for the parts of your life that don’t fit into a leadership meeting.

Who Are You Beyond What You Do?

Leadership can become closely tied to identity. Success may bring satisfaction, but also pressure to keep proving yourself. A setback can feel personal. Rest can feel uncomfortable. Delegating can stir up more than a question about who can do the job.

Together, we explore what’s happening now and the experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped you.

You don’t have to make everything about work. Your relationships, history, health, joy, and life outside the role belong, too.

Stress & Emotional Regulation

Understanding your responses to pressure and developing ways to navigate overwhelm.

Isolation & Responsibility

Making room for uncertainty, vulnerability, and the weight of being the person others rely on.

Identity & Self-worth

Exploring who you are beyond your title, achievements, or company’s performance.

Ambition & Coping:

Examining perfectionism, overwork, control, avoidance, or habits that offer relief but carry a cost.

Founder and executive therapy makes room for the person behind the role.

Together, we explore how leadership is affecting you and how your life experiences, relationships, and patterns shape the way you feel, live, and lead.

Space for the Person Behind the Role

My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and grounded in curiosity about how we become who we are. We may explore earlier experiences, work with present-day emotions and stress responses, and develop practical ways to respond differently as we move forward.

I bring warmth, directness, humor, and psychoeducation into our work. There’s room to understand a pattern before deciding what you want to change.

Your well-being deserves attention in its own right. You don’t have to turn therapy into another performance goal.

What’s driving you—and what’s it costing you?

I Understand the World You Work In

For nearly 30 years, I’ve worked at founder-led companies across creative industries in NYC, including more than 20 years as an HR executive. I’ve been close to the excitement, difficult decisions, complicated relationships, and everyday realities of a leader’s work life and the employee journeys, from candidate through alumni.

In 2007, I became a VP.
In 2018, I became a founder myself.
Those experiences inform my perspective as a psychotherapist.

You won’t need to overexplain:

  • How being capable can turn into being responsible for everything.

  • Why it feels easier to do it yourself, even when doing it yourself is the problem.

  • How you can leave a meeting and spend the evening in it.

  • Why anticipating everyone’s needs can leave you disconnected from your own.

  • How doing more can become your answer to feeling uncertain, anxious, or not enough.

  • Why slowing down can feel more uncomfortable than staying overwhelmed.

  • Why a task can be finished while your mind keeps revising it.

  • Why being needed can feel reassuring and exhausting at the same time.

  • How you can know you need rest and still feel you have to earn it.

There’s a Whole Life Behind the Title.

Our work explores where ambition meets anxiety, responsibility meets exhaustion, and your identity becomes intertwined with what you do, while making room for your relationships, your needs, and the life you want beyond work.

Our conversations may begin with work, but they make room for your whole life: how work affects you, how life shapes the way you work, and what you need in both.

The patterns we explore at work may also show up with your partner, family, and children, or in how you approach hobbies, rest, and the things you enjoy.
